CANopen
CANopen is a communication protocol based on CAN, which is defined by CAN in Automation e.V. (CiA) and internationally standardized as European standard EN 50325-4.
It defines basic services for process data exchange as well as for the configuration of devices. In addition to CANopen, other device and application profiles are defined and developed and maintained by CiA and its members. .
UDS Server Stack
UDS – Unified Diagnostic Services
UDS is a communication protocol for diagnosing ECUs in automotive environments, standardized in ISO 14229.
Our UDS Server Stack extension implements UDS on CAN and is based on ISO-TP. ISO-TP is an international standard (ISO 15765-2) for transmitting data over CAN. The protocol covers OSI layers 3 and 4. It allows for the segmented transmission of data packets up to 4095 bytes in length.
